Cathryn Ramirez is Executive Director, Alumni Development and Continuing Education. Since joining GIA in 2017, she has worked to further GIA’s mission of ensuring the public trust in gems and jewelry by expanding and deepening GIA’s relationships with retailers and other stakeholders. Ramirez’s past experience includes more than two decades of leadership at Tiffany & Co. as group director and working at her family’s 100-year old jewelry business. She earned a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin – Red McCombs School of Business and is a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
